Dissolution of VAHQ
VAHQ Members, Quality & Safety Colleagues & Previous Members of VAHQ,
VAHQ has struggled with declining membership and lack of participation in educational events including our annual conference last October 2021. This has had a negative impact on our operating funds resulting in more costs than revenue.
At our last meeting, it was a unanimous decision of the Board of Directors to dissolve the association and donate our remaining funds to educational resources supporting quality and patient safety. This was an exceedingly difficult decision, but everyone agreed that we have put forth our best efforts, to no avail, for the last five to six years.
No further membership fees have been accepted or requested since August 1, 2022. After we determine the recipients of our remaining funds, we will notify everyone. The dissolution of VAHQ will be completed before the end of this year.
Our website will be maintained until our contract license with Weebly ends in May 2023. Our webmaster, Amy Ridolphi, will update our website, Facebook & and other social media sites as we complete the dissolution process.
Thank you for your support over the years.
If you have any questions, please contact me at jdayvault@vhha.com.
